Background:
I received my Bachelor’s from Metro State, and completed the Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies program at the University of Colorado at Denver. I have taught special education, English, and some math in everything from parochial to residential settings. When I transferred to Denver Public Schools, I organized a program called the TRAN Program, which was for students transitioning back into the district from residential settings. I am proud to be a part of the Spartan team here at TJ! I look forward to continuing the work that was set out last several years.
For the 2016-2017 school year, I'll be working with all students toward college and career readiness through engagement with concurrent enrollment, Advanced Placement courses, and other programs. I am also responsible for the special education, CCTM, and science departments.
